moonshine arch

after all the easter festivities of saturday morning,

we took off for an afternoon of our family's favorite activity...

HIKING.

we love it!

this time we went to moonshine arch.

we had a great time.

jake was able to point his gun at all sorts of

imaginary elk, deer and dinosaurs.

we even saw a whole herd of lizards sunning themselves on the rock.

it was a great afternoon!

easter saturday

we did most of our easter "celebrating" on saturday.

the boys woke up and the easter bunny had

hidden eggs all over the house.

they even found their easter baskets in the play room.

the weird thing was that the easter bunny brought a play gun for jake and a play golf set.

not a normal thing for the easter bunny to bring, but the boys have sure enjoyed them.

i am sooo far behind, but i am determined to catch up.

the next three posts will be easter posts. 

i know...that was two months ago.

anyway, grandpa and grandma rass gave the boys

a HUGE BEAR

for easter.

it is awesome! 

initially, jake was scared of it.

he opened the front door, expecting to see grandpa,

but instead there was a bear (grandpa was hiding behind it).

he eventually warmed up to it and now the boys love to wrestle it!
