nutty

papa rass got a new bull. his name is "nutty". grandma rass thinks the name is inappropriate and calls it "netty". i think "nutty" is perfect. jake thinks the bull is just plain perfect. you know, he does have an obsession with bulls. the coolest part about nutty is that he came to the farm with a ring in his nose. how cool is that? jake wants to be just like him.

that's a bunch of bull

this looks like punishment, but i swear it isn't. he just likes bulls. he likes to look at them, talk about them, act like them, you name it. right here he is a bull in his fence of course.

easter (better late than never?)

we had a fun rass gathering for an easter egg hunt and barbeque. doesn't jake looked thrilled to pose for a picture with his cousins??


he loves avery. many days he wants to call avery on the phone and talk to her about bulls. she is very patient. she listens, laughs and asks questions at the appropriate time. she is going to be such a good wife. too bad they are cousins.

during the barbeque, jake fed brett and jenell's good ole dog "Ellie" some "hay". doesn't every animal love hay?

disneyland...finally

we finally made it to disneyland for our last 3 days in california. to be honest, we were pretty worn out by the time we got there, but we still had lots of fun.

we were all the most happy when jake was in his stroller and we were moving.

jake talked and talked about the elephants for days to anyone that would listen (sometimes even if they wouldn't listen).

loved the finding nemo submarine ride!

waiting in line was exhausting (for whom you may ask). look at jake's poor little red face. our second day there was record highs (like 90 degrees).

jake held matt's hat while the pregnant lady held jake. hum.


we may be the only disneyland visitors in history to visit critter country's petting zoo of goats, but jake was thrilled to see live animals.

we had a little time alone with grandma jorgensen and that was so fun!

that's the end of our california pictures. we had a great time! i am ready to go back, better yet, let's wait until i am not pregnant!
